OUTCOME: fully favorable decision

Instead of her denial my client just reapplied claiming a later date when she became disabled. I pointed out to the judge that the regulations allow to reopen that prior application. As a result, we ... not only won but the client got an extra years' worth of benefit (over $10,000 more) plus Medicare. All in all an excellent result.
