Mr. Davis was extremely calm, and he spoke slowly enough over the telephone so that I could understand exactly what he was saying. He used legal terminology to a minimum, and explained all the dynamics in plain language. If there was anything that I didn't understand, Mr. Davis allowed me to talk ...about it with him until I did understand. Every time he thought of something that I might need to know, he would get back in contact with me either by telephone or by text, and he would give me the new information. Mr. Davis also puts the client at ease, because he knows that legal issues cause nerves. His manner of speaking is very relaxing, and it takes the nerves away. I would highly recommend Mr. Davis in anything related to oil and gas law. My oil and gas problem was the following: I was unaware of what the status was of particular units in a particular Texas County, that I had inherited from my mother. Mr. Davis taught me the basic literacy of how to navigate the tools of the county tax assessor collector, so that I could find the units in question, and enquire about them on the telephone with the county. He also taught me the quirks and idiosyncrasies of how things work in a county tax office, so that I would know the flowchart, the personality types, and who is who, and how to get things done.
