Jason Alan West

Jason is a fifth generation Texan and is a 1994 graduate of Pine Tree High School. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in economics, Jason went on to obtain his law degree from Southern Methodist University in 2002. While in law school, Jason was the Managing Editor for the International Law Review and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert M. Parker, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Tyler, Texas.

Jason focuses his practice on commercial real estate, business litigation and transactions, and oil and gas matters. He represents numerous entities not only in East Texas but throughout the State. Jason’s real estate clients consist of commercial real estate companies, landowners, and investors of a wide range of real estate holdings including timber land, shopping centers, warehouse and industrial facilities, and office buildings. His business clients include both family-owned and publicly traded companies. With respect to his oil and gas practice, Jason represents operators, wireline companies, pressure pumping companies, well service companies, as well as royalty owners, working interest owners, and surface owners.

This year, Jason was selected by Texas Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” and was featured in the April Edition of Texas Monthly magazine.
