Sean Reed Cox

Sean Cox is an appellate attorney with broad experience handling legal disputes in both state and federal courts across the country. He has been involved in all aspects of such cases, including pretrial and trial matters, but has a strong background in complex law and motion practice, post-trial matters, writs, and appeals.

The subject matter of Sean’s cases has ranged from products liability, personal injury and wrongful death, to general commercial litigation. Sean has also handled cases in the areas of defamation, wrongful foreclosure, professional negligence, and theft of trade secrets, to name a few.

Sean graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2001. He is a member of the Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing individuals who excel in oral advocacy and brief writing skills, and has practiced in appellate law for over ten years. For four years, in addition to his law practice, he taught an advanced appellate advocacy course at the University of Houston Law Center as an adjunct professor of law. He also holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sean has provided legal briefing support and appellate representation in over twenty different jurisdictions across the country, including Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Florida, Louisiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and Massachusetts, and is available to assist with such matters before all levels of state and federal courts.
