FIRED HER>>>Here it goes: I was recommended to Darlene by a relative, the first time I went into her office I was greeted and talked down to, and treated harshly by her very rude assistant, Sh@nn@n, I didn't think much of it bc I was desperate, I being served divorce papers was happy to have anyone ...on my side. Next time I go in nothings changed but her assistant is still extremely rude( doesn't even hide it in front of Darlene), then i bring a friend, and afterwards she says i cant believe you let her assistant talk down to you so rudely the whole time, I met one of Darlene's previous clients later and she said she would have fired Darlene based on SH@nn@n's attitude too but she was too deep into it. Anyway, That's issue #!, next issue is Darlene is VERY passive, Attorneys shouldn't use phrases like " lets not ROCK the Boat" etc etc, she kept talking about how nasty the opposing council was? This is your first Rodeo Darlene? not to mention she DIDN'T fight for me at all, I was ordered to see a reunification counselor with my daughter, my EX keep me from my daughter for 2 weeks shy of a year, even the court ordered counselor said " whats going on with your atty? you have not seen your daughter, I have clients that have beaten up Grandma in front of the kids and they get to see their kids after a month and YOU haven't done anything and haven't seen yours in practically a year" that was a huge red flag for Darlene. i wanted to fire her many times and was unsure, until i realized that her attitude and Sh@nn@ns were actually the same, Darlene just hid it , i eventually asked her why she wasn't stepping up to the plate and then Darlene got offended with me. bc she said i was rude, But wait what about all the people( even other online reviews) that complain about Sh@nn@n being Rude? yet RUDE doesn't matter? At the end of the day if you want a laid back, let me tack your money if this is a easy case type of an Atty, then Darlene is great, but if you need someone is there to actually fight for you go elsewhere. Darlene is way to soft , christian or not, shes getting paid to do a job, in my case a Divorce and i needed a great atty( AKA Marriage Abortionist I like to call them). I eventually fired her and the BEST THING I EVER DID>>>>>then she talked trash about the person that recommended me to go to her

I hired Ms. D, for my divorce. After being misrepresented by another attorney I didn't think I could trust another! When I tell you I stepped on faith and it lead me to her office. She will keep you informed every step of the way! She truly cares about her clients and everyones else as well. When we ...walk in the court house I honestly feel like I'm walking with a celebrity. Shannon is also the best side kick ever!! I love them both and they are officially never getting rid of me after my case is done. You won't be disappointed! She's my attorney for life. We are stuck!

Darlene is an excellent attorney,she represented me for a divorce and wrongful death lawsuit.
