Michael Ogbonna Igwe

I was reffered to Michael in December of 2007 by a very close friend of mine, i started working with him in 2008, at first i was skeptical because i previously had worked with Lawyers that had no time for me and i always felt rushed and never felt like i got my money's worth. I remember the mornin...g i walked into Mr. Igwe's office i could immediately tell we were gonna have a very good client/lawyer relationship, i poured my heart out of the case that i wanted him to represent me on, and not one time did he interrupt me as he listened, he shared his opinions candidly and respectfully and at that point i knew i was gonna hire him to represent me, to sum it up all, i have been working with Mr. Igwe since then, he is an honest man, very good listener, very Intelligent and no questions go unanswered with Michael, i would recommend him to anyone looking for great Lawyer who will get the job done and who has an open door policy. i am thankful to have had the chance to work with him.

Michael has been my attorney for over 8 years and has helped me with a criminal charge, immigration and a business issue. He goes over and above the call of duty, when I was arrested after bailing me out of jail he waited to make sure I got out safely. I read the previous review of the person who s...aid he was rude and think he/she mistook his jovial attitude for rudeness. He is extremely professional, however; he is not the 'stereotypical attorney' who is all about business without a smile or joke. I can always count on Mr Igwe to answer his phone or at least return my phone call if he is predisposed. I would use his services again if there is ever a need.

Michael Igwe was recommended to my mom by a "friend" I went to see him for assistance with an immigration matter. He was EXTREMELY rude and cruel for no reason. His tone was terrible. Right away he said "you owe me 86.50 just for meeting with me" this was before he helped me with anything. Then when ...I asked if he would like to make copies of my documents he said "What am I, your secretary?" He then asked me f I had consulted other attorneys and when I told him of one, he sked how much is he charching you?" I said 2500 and he said "M.J is charging 2500 for this? Hee laughed and said, I wouldnt bother with anyone like you for anything less than 4,000" I left his office running and crying. He has never apologized. Ignored a voicemail and email that I sent. Anyway, God is good and someone else assisted with my issue. I will NEVER forget how nasty and rude this Michael Igwe was.
