Mark Anthony Swaim

Mark Swaim is a native born Texan, born in Stephenville and raised in Granbury, high above the Brazos River. He graduated from Granbury High School and, after a year at Texas A&M University, went into the Air Force. He worked in electronics on the F-111. After honorably completing a tour of duty, he returned home to Granbury where he began building houses with his grandfather. After the real estate downturn in the late 1980’s, he returned to college and completed his bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1996 he completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Houston and received his license to practice law in November of that year.
