Donna R. Tomlinson

Donna Tomlinson is a seasoned attorney with over 19 years of experience spanning both transactional law and litigation. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters with clarity and care. Donna’s legal career has included significant time in both business and family law, but it is in working one-on-one with family law clients that she finds the greatest fulfillment. She brings empathy, determination, and a problem-solving mindset to every case.

For more than 16 years, Donna has represented clients in divorce, child support and custody matters, fathers’ rights, and related family law issues. She believes strongly in the power of amicable resolutions and collaboration, yet she is also a tenacious advocate when litigation is required. At Hargrave Family Law, Donna’s thoughtful and strategic approach complements the firm’s mission to protect what matters most.

Donna holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Prairie View A&M University, a J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, and an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She is a Certified Ad Litem and a Credentialed Mediator in the State of Texas. Her education and credentials reflect her strong academic foundation and her commitment to resolving disputes effectively and creatively.

Outside the office, Donna is devoted to her family, including two wonderful children and two beloved pets. She volunteers as a mediator with the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Center and serves as a judge for annual High School Mock Trials. Her goal in every representation is simple yet profound: to make a positive impact in her clients’ lives and ensure their legal journey is a little easier.
