Andrew Lee Siegel

Andrew Siegel is an accomplished, AV-rated attorney who represents major clients in the financial, hospitality, restaurant, commercial development, manufacturing and retail industries and related trade associations. He has worked on behalf of domestic and international clients in businesses involving investment and merchant banking, construction, engineering and energy exploration and production, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions and the sale of stocks and other assets. He recently served as legal advisor in a $400 million sale of a leading vodka import, as well as negotiated the sale of a major wholesale beer distributor. Mr. Siegel has extensive experience in many aspects of U.S., European Community and compex commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, including commercial, financial and construction arbitration (under both AAA and ICC Rules) and administrative and regulatory law and, in particular, in the areas of federal, state and local alcoholic beverage regulation, including land-use planning, licensing, litigation, administrative and the legal aspects of legislative affairs. Activities Mr. Siegel is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association and State Bar of Texas, previously serving as chairman of the Public Affairs and Education Committee of the State Bar. He also served on the Development Board of The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He was the Research Editor for the Texas Review of Litigation and a former Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. He is an associate member of the New Car Dealers Association of Metropolitan Dallas, a member of the National Association of Dealer Counsel, a member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors, a member of the International Arbitration Association. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for Earning By Learning of Dallas. Education Mr. Siegel holds a law degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where he was the Ward Moot Court Champion. He also studied the common, civil and cannon laws at Wolfson College, Oxford University in England. He received a Masters in Economics and Political Theory from the University of Chicago and his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to law school, Mr. Siegel worked as a Research Associate at the Smithsonian’s Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in the International Security Studies Program.
