I Hired him in 2009 for a simple speeding ticket, I was in the process of moving so I couldn't deal with it myself. Looking back I should have made the time necessary to do it. It is April of 2017, and I just found out that he never showed up for court, and I now have to deal with an arrest warrant,... as well as the original speeding ticket. oh and by the way I can not get my drivers license renewed because of this, so if I don't watch it and I get stopped by the police for ANY reason I could get a ticket for that as well, and go to jail.

Martin was paid by paypal to handle my friend's speeding ticket in 2010. He failed to make any court hearings or even notify her of any appearances. His gross negligence resulted in a warrant being issued for her arrest. I filed a complaint with the State Bar of Texas. It was a long process but the ...State Bar of Texas did a great job of keeping me updated on my complaint.

If I could give this joke of a lawyer a ZERO, I would! I had an outstanding warrant in Arlington. My husband found him on Craigs List and since he had low rates, I went with him. Well, everything started out great, he was able to lift my warrant within a week or two. I needed to provide him with proo...f of insurance, but unfortunately did not work out for me because the insurance wasn't under my name and I wasn't a covered driver. Anyway, he kept having to push the case back to May of this year and I had to pay ANOTHER FEE. So after the case I contacted him, no answer. Okay I waited a few weeks, still no answer, a month passes by, I contact him AGAIN, no answer, another month passes and STILL NO ANSWER!!! It is now the end of September, I have contacted him again, checked my status and I am BACK on ARREST WARRANT!!!!!! Ridiculous! He finally answered me saying he BELIEVES he sent me paperwork, when I haven't received ANYTHING. And for him not to answer me for 4 MONTHS! That is completely unacceptable. I'm really disappointed and extremely angry that this had not been taken care of and I have not gotten any communication from him in a timely manner and because I had to pay double of what I originally thought I would've had to pay!!!! Now I have to pay ANOTHER lawyer to get this done correctly. Like the saying goes, If it's too good to be true, it probably is!

I contracted this attorney for two speeding tickets. He actually showed up for one of them, but did no more than what I could have done. However, he was a no show for the second and I didn't find out until I was stopped by City of Fort Worth not because I did anything wrong, but because I was fill...ing up with gas and they pulled in the parking log and their "360 Plate Scan" showed that I had warrants associated with my license plate. Thankfully they were kind enough to not take me to jail, tow my car and send my dog to animal control. I contacted him and he responded right back and said that he would look into it. That's been almost two months ago and I guess he's still looking into it and lost his phone while he was looking. I'm currently unemployed and finding a job has been a challenge, especially since I didn't know that I had warrants out for my arrest. Therefore, I don't have the money to pay the full fine with additional the warrant charges because I have no job and I can't get a job, because I have outstanding warrants that pop up on a background check. My last resort to clear the warrants so that I can get a job is to sit the tickets out in JAIL!!! Even after making him aware of that I am going to sit these tickets out in jail, STILL no response from my boy Richie.

I was very skeptical of using Mr. Martin's services after reading the reviews online. I told him my worries and he quickly and professionally jumped at the opportunity to prove his negative reviews wrong. We are still working with Mr. Martin on my husband's traffic tickets and warrants and he is STIL...L doing an exceptional job. He communicates with you promptly and lets you know exactly what is going on with your case. I do not know what really happened to cause such negative feedback thus far, but in my opinion these reviews do not sound like the same man I hired. It would do you well to use Richard Martin as an attorney, he has competitive rates and knows what he is doing. It took him less than 2 hours to clear my husband's 4 outstanding warrants.
