Alex Johnathan Bell

Alex has extensive experience defending and handling business disputes, personal injury, and large-loss and catastrophic cases including multiple fatalities or serious injuries, transportation accidents, and oil field / industrial incidents. From managing the accident scene to discovery, trial, and final disposition, Alex helps clients navigate these complex and high exposure matters. He has also recently been working with clients in the golf, entertainment, and restaurant industries.

Alex has also assisted clients in handling and responding to investigations by various government agencies for civil, criminal, and regulatory issues including the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Railroad Commission, and OSHA, as these are often intertwined with tort and personal injury litigation. As a former prosecutor, Alex also lends critical perspective to cases where criminal law and civil law intersect.

Recent successes:
-Received summary judgment in favor of a roofing contractor accused of negligently repairing a commercial facilities roof
-Received summary judgment in favor of individuals sued for negligence in operating their motor vehicles
-Successfully struck Plaintiffs' experts, resulting in a favorable settlement just prior to trial
