Practice Areas

Litigation 60%

About 90% of my work is handling all kinds of civil trials, but primarily in the areas of business disputes involving breached contracts and leases, employment disputes, insurance disputes, etc. representing companies, individuals and governmental entities.

Appeals 10%

Appeals from civil cases in most areas of the law in both state and federal courts. We mostly work appeals where we have handled the underlying case, but do handle new appeals from time to time.

10%
Insurance 10%

A significant portion of our litigation practice (and counseling practice) is based on insurance coverage - representing insurers and insureds in resolving issues about whether there is coverage for a particular claim. We often come into cases as associated counsel to assist in those areas.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
