John Rizo is a 1984 graduate of the Harvard Law School. He is Bilingual
(English/Spanish). He has over 25 years of experience in the practice
of law. Mr. Rizo has served as an Assistant District Attorney for
Dallas County, in-house counsel for a major corporation, J. C. Penney,
and has worked in various civil law firms.
Mr. Rizo has tried over 50 cases before judges or juries. He has
experience in successfully handling accident, civil, CPS, criminal,
family, business, immigration, intellectual property, ERISA, and
appellate matters in state and federal courts in Texas and across the
county. Mr. Rizo's successes include prosecuting and defending
multi-million dollar lawsuits.
Mr. Rizo is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of
Texas, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern,
Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the United States Courts
of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Fifth Circuits.
Mr. Rizo is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the Greater Dallas
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Harvard Club of Dallas. Mr. Rizo
is also Of Counsel to the law firm of Kennedy, Clark and Williams PC.
