Taylor Rex Robertson

Taylor Rex Robertson is an associate in the Business Litigation Practice Group in the Dallas Office of Haynes and Boone.

Taylor’s practice focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation in both state and federal courts. He has served a diverse group of clients on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial real estate disputes, oil and gas contract litigation, employee trade secret misappropriation, breaches of fiduciary duty, breaches of financing or lending agreements, and derivative actions by shareholders.

Taylor also has experience managing e-discovery on a variety of document production platforms.

Prior to law school, Taylor worked for a land development corporation and served in almost every position in the food and beverage industry. Through that experience, Taylor developed strong communication skills in the corporate environment, which allows him to effectively communicate with clients during the discovery and litigation process.

In addition to serving clients at Haynes and Boone, Taylor also volunteers as a prosecutor for the City of Arlington where he prosecutes misdemeanor crimes in jury trials. Taylor credits his lifelong background in theatre as a catalyst for his advocacy and public speaking skills.

Taylor was a member of the American Association of Justice trial advocacy competition throughout law school, he received the Outstanding Trial Advocacy Award at graduation, and he was unanimously selected by the law school faculty for the Outstanding Senior Law School Student Award presented by the Oklahoma Bar Association.
