Mark Taylor Jones

Mark "TJ" Jones started at McCathern in 2015.  He graduated from Baylor University in 2012 with a Bachelors in Business Journalism where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. TJ graduated from Baylor Law in 2015, cum laude.

While in law school, TJ was involved in the Student Bar Association as a 2L Secretary and 3L President and received the ‘Beckworth, Hollingsworth and Stephens Trial Advocacy Award’ and the ‘Fraley & Fraley Mock Trial Award’. He competed on the NTC Mock Trial Team, where he was recognized as a regional champion and quarterfinalist in the NTC National competition.  TJ also competed on the FBA moot court team and the ABA Labor Law Mock Trial teams. He was a member of the Dean’s Academic Honor List and a member of the Order of the Barristers.

TJ grew up in Tyler, Texas, but now lives in Dallas with his wife Heather and their two dogs Ava and Franklin. In his free time he enjoys working out, walking his dogs, and running.
