Jon-Bernard Schwartz

Jon-Bernard Schwartz is a talented and seasoned litigatior with an instinctive know-how of courtroom practice and procedure. Jon has extensive experience trying cases to verdict, including a jury trial in Houston Federal Court resulting in a $30 million judgment for his client. Jon has a broad range of knowledge in the legal arena, with areas of practice including employment, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, personal injury, general negligence, bankruptcy, the negotiation and drafting of contracts, and insurance coverage.

Twice honored by recognition in Thomson Reuters "Texas Rising Stars," Jon is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a Texas Law Fellow, and where he received his J.D. in 1997.  Jon did his undergraduate work at New York's Columbia University, where he received his B.A., cum laude, in 1993.  Jon is licensed in Texas and Washington, D.C., all four federal district courts in Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
