He further strengthened his legal training through a prestigious judicial clerkship with the Honorable Robert Junell of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. This experience provided him with valuable insight into federal court procedures, judicial decision-making, and the legal analysis that shapes criminal litigation.

Following his clerkship, Mr. Baker dedicated his practice to criminal law, developing experience at both the trial and appellate levels. His background includes service as an appellate prosecutor, where he handled complex legal issues and criminal appeals. This experience gave him a deep understanding of how appellate courts evaluate trial court decisions, constitutional claims, evidentiary rulings, and legal challenges raised in criminal cases.
