I was blessed enough to experience running for the office of District Attorney at the age of 28. While I wasn't victorious, I was successful. I smoothly transitioned into private practice after the campaign was completed.

I believe that I am truly walking in my purpose as an attorney and as such am a zeolous advocate in every case that comes across my desk.  I am passionate about my clients, family, and community.  Below is a list of some of my civic activities.

I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and serve as the Primary Campus Advisor to the Undergraduates at SAU, Magnolia.

Past Member of the Customer Service and Performance Subcommittee (The National Bar Association)

I am a member of Texarkana Young Lawyers Association and while under the leadership of Attorney Shivali Sharma, I served as the social chair and worked on various local projects which netted the affiliate various awards.

The association received TYLA’s First Place-Small City Comprehensive Award of Achievement, the Arkansas Bar Association’s Outstanding Bar Association Award, and the American Bar Association’s Second Place-Small City Comprehensive Award.

Some of the projects that I have participated in are:

Texarkana’s first Young Lawyer Practicum Program, The Domestic Violence Prevention Valentine Program with distribution of "Ending the Violence: How to Obtain A Texas Protective Order," rollout of the Legal Guide for Cancer Patients at the local Race for the Cure, creation of Texarkana Kids Law Library provided to two local schools, local Judicial Dinner*, New Lawyer Reception, Vote America, restaurant night benefiting the local Boy’s & Girl’s Club, Watersprings Ranch Orphanage Halloween Party, and attorney volunteer days with Harvest Texarkana, Teen Court of Texarkana, Local Affiliate Newsletter*, and Running WJ Ranch.

My favorite project to date is VOTE AMERICA - where we inform high school students about the history of voting in America and ultimately register eligible students to vote.
