Yianna Lazanas Farley

Yianna has been my attorney for several years. Throughout those years, she has had my best interest in mind and kept me grounded with what will truly unfold in court. She hears me when I voice what I want and how I feel. She communicates promptly and effectively, which is very important to me with an... attorney. I also feel she does not take advantage of billing like other attorneys have in the past. When I used a different attorney before Yianna, he billed me for 7 hours in court for TWO attorneys and when I double checked my documents, court was cancelled that day and we weren’t even there! Yianna knows the burdens and stress that court has on people and does know capitalize on that with her clients. I am grateful to have met Yianna and hired her to help me!

I was blindsided into a custody case and chose Yianna because our consultation was the best after speaking with SEVERAL attorneys in my area. I felt heard and understood. Details of the case was explained in great detail outlining things that would (and would not) happen from beginning to end. Yianna... expressed the main goal was doing what was best for my sons well being which aligned perfectly with what I wanted. Other attorneys saw dollar signs, yet Yianna saw a need to help. Communication was (and still is) real, honest, professional and she made herself available for my questions (and sometimes tears). No stone or legal page was left unturned which is what you want when it comes to your children and their well being and happiness!

Yianna has been nothing but a pleasure to work with since I hired her. She is prompt and has answered confidently any questions I've had through this process. She is not only extremely smart and gifted in family law, she cares about her clients. For me, she has been exceptional navigating a hard ...time (divorce). Ms. Farley took on my basic case that was over amped by my ex-spouse….and …during the most tumultuous time of my life …I had an advisor whom was direct and honest …..she didn’t act like she knew everything. The things she were uncertain about she had a top tier of attorneys (I COULDNT AFFORD cause I ...tried), she conferred with…..each time the attorney would affirm her calculations as correct…..Not only I couldn’t afford her contemporaries…..I COULDNT AFFORD HER….but she said, “calm down I’ll help” and she did……we laughed as I said “I hope I don’t need u again” Ms. Farley was AWESOME…..

Yianna's performance as my lawyer went way beyond being a great lawyer. Believe me when I say I now know the difference between an attentive lawyer that goes above and beyond to ensure the right request are included in the decree. Being that my head and heart was not in a good place doing my original... divorce proceeding my first divorce lawyer let my ex-wife take me to the cleaners financially and with child custody (you would have thought my first lawyer was representing my ex). I have to strongly agree with the client that commented that Yianna took the time to understand my case and was honest with every reaction. Even things I didn’t want to hear but was reality. When I wanted to get even with my ex Yianna advised me with logical statements that would give us the best outcome. She has your back and gives you the facts. Once we had everything we needed it was a great success! Highly Highly recommend her! I was just another divorced dad trying to get his equal rights with his kid!
