Felony Arson Reduced to Misdemeanor
Sep 27, 2012OUTCOME: Misdemeanor Deferred Probation
My client let someone talk him into setting fire to a car (that was registered to his father-in-law!) that was more trouble than it was worth. The car exploded into flames, and he was charged with fel ... ony arson. He agreed to continue to make the payments on the car, so with his father-in-law's help, I was able to convince the DA to reduce his case to a misdemeanor with deferred probation.
