Karen J. Bryson

Karen Bryson is a Dallas family law attorney with Goranson Bain Ausley who represents clients in divorce, child custody, premarital agreements, family violence, modifications and enforcement, and adoption.

Karen works with clients who want a thoughtful, strategic approach to resolving family law matters. She takes time to understand what matters most to each client, explains the available paths forward, and develops practical solutions tailored to their circumstances and goals.

Trained in Collaborative Divorce and mediation, Karen helps clients consider negotiation, mediation, Collaborative Divorce, and other constructive approaches when appropriate. She believes clients are often in the best position to shape solutions that will work for their families and their futures. When litigation is necessary, Karen prepares thoroughly and advocates for her clients in court.

Karen also has experience in contested custody, family violence, and high-conflict matters, including protective orders and disputes involving conservatorship, possession, and parenting arrangements. A cum laude psychology graduate of Howard University whose early career included legal aid and victims' services, she brings an understanding of family dynamics to sensitive family law matters.
