My grandmother wasn’t a lawyer, but she should have been.  The lessons I learned from her have shaped the way I do my job.   She taught me that the truth is priceless— always tell it and stand up for it.  Go the extra mile for people.  Never meet a stranger— everyone has a story if you just give them an opportunity to tell it.  No one is perfect but we all have the obligation to take responsibility for mistakes.

Protecting my clients and being their voice is important to me. I want my clients to know that I understand the harm or injustice that brought them to me has a significant presence in their daily life.

I started out representing people and companies in a small firm that took a wide variety of cases.  The years I spent there gave me the opportunity to handles all sorts of cases in courts around Texas and New Mexico— truck wrecks, medical malpractice, oil field injuries and deaths, explosions, and a variety of business cases.  Most recently, before joining Aldous\Walker, I worked representing people injured by bad products in courts all over the nation.  That experience has given me a unique perspective and a large base of knowledge about other states’ courts and laws. 

While every client and every case is different, my approach to each one is based on what my grandmother taught me.  Stand up for the truth. Go above and beyond. Get to know the people and their stories.

I can’t undo the harm my clients have experienced, or the pain they may feel, but I will fight with them for justice.
