Mr. and Mrs. Fisher successfully prevailed in a jury trial on their claims for fraud, civil conspiracy and violations of the Texas Security Act, regarding a investment in a storage facility in Prosper, ... Texas. The jury awarded economic damages of $300,000, and all of the attorney's fees of Fisher's, plus court costs and interest. After the Judgment in favor of the Fishers was affirmed by the Dallas Court of Appeals in August 2019, the efforts of the losing Defendants to obtain a petition for review in the Texas Supreme Court, were denied in early 2020.
