Robert Grant Wood

A proud 6th generation Dallasite and 11th generation Texan, Grant Wood has been an attorney in Texas since 2006. His law practice addresses all aspects of residential real estate, commercial real estate, oil and gas, and business law. Grant has served as the President of a Publicly Traded Title Company, an escrow officer, closer and counsel. He is accomplished at working various transactions types including raw land, oil and gas, ranches, mixed commercial and residential.

Grant graduated as the Texas AP State Scholar with honors from Highland Park High School in 1997, received the Federation of German American Clubs Fellowship to study at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology from 1999-2000, graduated cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South in 2001 and from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law as the chief of the civil clinic in 2005. He is currently a proud board member and past president of the Preston Center Rotary Club, a member of the Rosemont Dad’s Club and Sudie Williams Dad’s Club, former board member of the Alliance for the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, and supports the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers as a sustaining fellow.

Grant has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers and most recently, Grant was included in the Texas Land Title Association’s 2019 Leadership Class and is currently seated, serving his second term, on the Texas Land Title Association’s TLTAPAC Board.

Grant and his high school sweetheart, broker/agent Kay, are proud Oak Cliff residents, where they raise their 3 daughters and a double doodle puppy named Cole. Grant is passionate about international motorcycle travel, pizza-making, and perfecting the ultimate margarita.
