Wonderful people!

After I was laid off from my job, Mr. Kaplan and his extremely knowledgeable and dedicated paralegal, Pamela, reviewed my severance package for me. They found all kinds of problems with it, and gave me multiple options on how to proceed. They were very patient in explaining the details to me and al...lowed me to review each e-mail, fax, or other document or correspondence before it was sent to my former employer, greatly increasing my comfort level. Their billing was very detailed and much more than fair. I am extremely satisfied with my experience, and would recommend Kaplan & Associates, L.L.P. to my friends and family. If I end up starting my own business, I will gladly entrust this firm with all the legal details.

Switch it Up

Mr. Kaplan represented myself and another of his clients that was the defendant. During the settlement agreement signing, he switched the agreement from unilateral to bilateral in favor of the defendant. I did not see this until weeks after since I never received copies until I complained.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
