Jana Starling Reist

Jana Reist is an experienced litigation attorney focused on construction law disputes for a wide range of clients, including general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, suppliers, property owners, insurance carriers, and local and national businesses.  Jana grew up in the construction industry, with a father who has owned and worked for a commercial general contracting company for over 35 years.  This experience has given Jana a good understanding of the various facets of the construction industry, which helps better meet the needs of her clients. 

Jana’s practice involves a wide range of commercial and residential disputes, including construction/design defect, negligence, breach of contract, breach of warranty, personal injury, as well as indemnity and coverage issues.  Jana also counsels her clients in protecting their businesses from liability, through drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating disputes, and helping foster good business practices.

Jana’s practice also encompasses general civil litigation matters, including employment matters, professional negligence, premises liability, personal injury suits, contract disputes, products liability suits, insurance coverage and general insurance defense issues.  Jana has represented her clients before trial and appellate courts throughout Texas, as well as before arbitrators and mediators.
