Greg Marks

I’m J. Gregory Marks, a Dallas personal injury attorney representing people whose lives have been changed by serious injuries or the loss of a loved one. I have practiced law in Texas since 1987 and have been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1997. My practice includes motor vehicle collisions, defective products, construction injuries, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death. Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as an offshore drilling engineer. That experience shaped the careful, analytical approach I bring to investigating accidents and understanding how vehicles and products fail.

After graduating in the top 15 percent of my class at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, I began my career representing corporations, physicians, and insurance companies. That work gave me insight into how defendants evaluate claims—knowledge I now use to advocate for injured individuals and families. At the Law Office of J. Gregory Marks, my goal is to build a clear, well-supported case that accounts for how an injury affects a client’s health, livelihood, and future. I take particular interest in uncovering dangerous product defects and pursuing accountability that may help prevent others from being harmed.
