During law school, Johnathan interned with the Honorable Ken Tapscott, County Court at Law No. 4 in Dallas, Texas, and with the Honorable Benjamin Smith, 380th District Court in McKinney, Texas. Johnathan also clerked at the Lanier Law Firm, a preeminent plaintiffs' law firm in Houston, Texas. A graduate of Baylor University School of Law, Johnathan honed his writing and critical thinking skills while simultaneously studying law and serving as an articles editor at Baylor Law Review, which earned him the Jerry L. Beane Award for excellence in writing. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.
