He received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in 1992. Jay serves on the board of directors of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. His professional involvement has also included membership in the National Association of Investigative Specialists and the American Inns of Court. Over his career, Jay has earned recognition for his results and trial advocacy, including membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum as a lifetime member, and selection among the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He has also authored and contributed to legal and technical publications, including works on sex crimes, accident reconstruction, and premises liability.
