First, in the consultation he will tell you he does not charge for phone or email conversations about the case, but when you get the bill the chargers were all there. We spoke about things in the consultation that he said he would do and were possible. Then once he was hired and he did not do them an...d they were suddenly not a good idea. Sometimes he took days and multiple calls to return a call or email. His office told me the wrong time to show up for court! It took me pushing and pushing him to get things done. His office filed the paperwork wrong with the court and delayed me getting my child support. I had to call to find out what the problem was and when I told him and his staff about it, they insisted what the court clerk had told me was wrong!! Then once everything is said and done, if you have a question about the paperwork he prepared (because he absolutely will not explain it well), he will not answer questions and will tell you he is too busy! I’ve dealt with a few lawyers previously and have never believed in the lawyer “rat” stereotype until I dealt with Michael. All around a horrible experience.
