Beware of this lawyer

What a nightmare experience I had with this lawyer. I hired and paid Mark Grosso up front to represent my son with some marijuana charges. My son was put on a program where if he stayed out of trouble for 2 years the charges would be dismissed and his record was eligible to be expunged. I paid Mar...k Grosso to have him represent my son and to file the expunction order. When 2 years were up and it was time to file the expunction, Mark completely forgot. I emailed Mark constantly to remind him to file the expunction and he wouldn't respond or responded with a promise to take care of it but never did. I finally contacted the Texas Bar Association to see if they could assist me. The bar told me the first step in the process of the Bar helping me was to write a letter to Mark and deliver it to him. I looked up his office address online and found 2 addresses for him. I went to both. One was not even a real address and the other one was an office but not for him. I finally looked up his home address in the tax records and went by his home to deliver the letter. He came to the door and asked me to give him another chance - he promised to take care of the expunction. I decided to give him another chance but again, he never filed it. I went back to the house again and this time I spoke to his wife. His wife said "oh, this is not like my husband at all" She called him and of course he answered his wife's call. More promises from Mark to take care of it. When he finally filed the expunction, he filed it incorrectly - twice. It was 2 years late before he finally did it a 3rd time and did it correctly. Save yourself a lot of trouble and anxiety and stay away from hiring this man.

While most of the information in this review is correct, it is not entirely complete. The client is a wonderful young man with a great family. My efforts secured his eligibility and acceptance into the program, which he successfully completed. What's missing from this review, however, is that the client had a separate felony allegation, which altered the time frame for eligibility for expunging the records. Additionally, while nothing was "filed incorrectly," there are procedural nuances that were not followed in a manner to ensure the fastest completion of the process. Regardless, the accountability for keeping the client and his family informed and for correctly following the entire process rests entirely with me. The client's records have been properly expunged.

Rip off lawyer - stay away

I hired Mark Grosso on April 30th 2017 to file a restraining order of a client. Mark took $4,000 of my money - he demanded it in cash - said he does not take credit cards or checks - should of seen the warning sign. He did not file anything with the court, he does not know how to file TRO on civil ...matters - after 30 days of absolute nothing he filed a motion to withdraw and remove himself from the case - on June 22nd 2017 we are suppose to go to 600 Commerce Street, Dallas Texas so he can walk away with $4,000 of my hard worked money and do nothing in return Do not pay this guy in cash Do not hire him for civil matters Sebastian Frisco, TX 75034

The statements made by this individual are false. The case records are public (Dallas County Case No. DC-17-04522) the work was performed, and the lawsuit and restraining order were filed. The individual never paid - nor was he billed - the amount alleged. Ironically, I was hired to assist him with a defamation suit from online trolling of his company. Unfortunately, most of the allegations made against him were true, but this apparently unstable individual insists on making demonstrably false statements against me.

Some cases are to big for him

Mark did not keep me informed and was not informed himself. He is an attorney who can not handle drug cases. He does not understand enough about the criminal drug law to make a proper defense.
