Camilo Valencia

Camilo’s interest in law and advocacy began at Austin College, where he was part of their inaugural advocacy teams. During his summers at college, he interned with solo practitioner John Lozano in Dallas, TX. Being a part of successfully bringing closure to people injured from others’ negligent acts inspired him to work in the personal injury field.

Camilo continued his legal education at Texas Tech University School of Law where he participated in advocacy programs, was an editor in the Administrative Law Journal, and graduated with honors. He also enjoyed volunteer work during law school, interpreting documents submitted to the Innocence Project of Texas for prisoners who were wrongfully convicted.

Since beginning his legal career in 2018, Camilo has provided aggressive legal representation to injured Texans facing the behemoth that is the insurance industry. He works relentlessly to get injured people the results they deserve. Camilo’s experience includes presenting cases in front of over 50 juries throughout Texas, taking and defending hundreds of depositions, and mediating over 200 cases.

Camilo was born in Medellin, Colombia. He grew up in Garland, TX and graduated high school from Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. Camilo is licensed to practice in all courts of the State of Texas, is fluent in Spanish, and is a member of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.
