Based on my experience, I would not recommend this immigration law firm. I hired Jeff mainly because I wanted an attorney physically present with me at my USCIS interview. That was the main reason I hired him. I was fully capable of submitting my own immigration forms, so having an attorney there ...with me for the interview was the service that mattered most. I paid for the immigration filing process and also paid an additional $500 specifically for Jeff to attend my USCIS interview. During the process, my Zoom calls were rescheduled multiple times, and my first USCIS interview was also rescheduled because of a scheduling conflict involving Jeff. Throughout that time, I was repeatedly under the impression that he would attend the rescheduled interview with me. Then, just two days before my second interview, I was informed by his office that Jeff was severely ill and would likely not be able to attend. I understand that illness and scheduling conflicts can happen. However, after the previous rescheduling and last-minute changes, this was extremely disappointing and stressful. Immigration is a serious matter that affects people’s lives, families, and futures. When you hire an attorney specifically for representation at an interview, you depend on that commitment. My concern is simple: I paid an additional $500 specifically for Jeff to attend my interview, and that was the main service I hired him for. When I learned just two days before the interview that he likely would not attend, I requested a full refund. His office confirmed in writing that Jeff would issue the refund. Based on my personal experience, I found the communication and scheduling unreliable, the handling of my case disappointing, and the overall experience unprofessional. I spent significant time and money expecting dependable interview representation, and that support was not provided as expected. For anyone considering this firm, I strongly recommend getting every service, attorney attendance commitment, fee, cancellation policy, and refund agreement clearly confirmed in writing before paying.
