Took my money
Hired him to appeal case and trusted him to do as he assured me he would. Gave him the money he asked. Later found out he deceived court and myself and never filed brief he was paid for. Also kept bond money that was to be returned to me. Caused me grief that I am still dealing with over a year later...
The appeal was filed and record was ordered but a deposit was never paid for the reporters record. When it was clear he could not pay for the costs of the appeal, I asked the court to appoint counsel so he could have an opportunity to be heard on appeal. The appeal was reviewed and ruled upon.
