Leslie Ballinger is a graduate of Pepperdine School of Law and also holds a Masters Degree in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s renowned Straus Institute. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Italian.
Ms. Ballinger’s practice focuses on the areas of civil litigation and family law. She has handled dozens of jury trials and tried to completion over 50 bench trials. Her experience as an Assistant District Attorney for Denton County, Texas and as a clerk for the Family Violence Division of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has given her deep insight into the best method to approach difficult issues her clients may face.
In addition to her litigation skills, Ms. Ballinger is well-versed in defusing tense situations. She has served as a court-appointed mediator in Los Angeles, California and taught dispute resolution to inmates at a detention center in Compton, California.
On family law matters, Ms. Ballinger has represented individuals in divorce, child custody, post-divorce division of property, protective orders, child support enforcement, modification, and litigation involving the Texas Attorney General.
