Biography
Mike Bernstein is a solo attorney in Garland Texas. He first served as turnover receiver in approximately 1994. By 1996 serving as receiver had become 100% of his practice. Mike is one of the very few attorneys in Texas who exclusively serve as turnover receiver.
Mike writes for and presents at the State Bar's Collections And Creditors' Rights Course each year, since 2005. Mike was the course director in 2015. He also presents webcasts and at other CLE programs. He is a contributing author for the Texas Collection Manual.
Mike served on the Texas Supreme Court's Ancillary Proceedings Task Force, which was active from 2008 - 2011.
