I have taken the road less traveled and practice law differently.  I do not take my own cases.  Rather, for nearly a decade, I have worked with solo practitioners and small firms to help them meet their legal research and writing needs.  I also consult with attorneys to help them analyze case facts, ideas, theories, legal strategies, cost-benefit/case valuation considerations, and supplement these with research, discovery, review of documents, and whatever else it takes to make sure your client’s legal needs are met.

I have been exposed to an ever-growing variety of legal matters, including employment law (racial & sexual harassment & discrimination), medical malpractice, business and contract litigation, ERISA, an assortment of personal injury claims (for both defendants and plaintiffs), and intellectual property.  (The only areas in which I do not practice are family and criminal law.)

My writing experience includes, inter alia: memoranda; discovery; Motions for Summary Judgment (state and federal court), responses, replies; Motions to Compel; Responses to Motions to Compel Arbitration; and appeals (state and federal).  I also have recently completed a Response to a Petition for Review before the Texas Supreme Court that is compliant with the new electronic briefing requirements.
