Erin Ann Therrian

Erin's practice emphasizes toxic tort and product liability defense and business litigation.

Erin joined Schachter Harris LLP when the firm began preparing for the estimation trial in the Garlock bankruptcy and played a major role in the preparation and presentation of the science evidence, which resulted in the court’s finding Garlock’s liability as “relatively de minimis.” In the firm’s role as science expert counsel for a defendant in the asbestos personal injury litigation, she has gained extensive experience coordinating the preparation of defense experts, preparing new experts in the litigation, and deposing and preparing cross examinations of nearly every opposing expert.

But her trial practice has not been limited to product liability defense. She regularly represents clients in business disputes, including recently representing a distributor against a manufacturer in an international arbitration hearing.

Erin graduated with distinction from The University of Oklahoma College of Law in May 2011 where she excelled in trial practice courses and competitions.  Erin was named Chief Counsel for the OU Legal Clinic and became a member of Oklahoma’s first team of licensed legal interns to try a civil rights case before a jury in federal court.

She received the McAfee & Taft Award for Trial Practice, the Cindy Foley Award for Clinic Excellence, and the AmJur Awards for Civil Clinic and Legal Research & Writing.  She was also recognized as the SATJ Outstanding Pro Bono Service Graduate and was inducted into the Order of the Solicitors.

Erin graduated magna cum laude from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2007.  Her major was in Political Science and her minor was in Spanish.
