Shelby Douglas

Shelby Douglas is a Managing Attorney at GTX Legal, where she negotiates customer agreements, vendor agreements, and NDAs for high-growth and PE-backed companies, bringing a litigation-tested eye to deals long before they become disputes.

Shelby began her career as a litigation associate at a Texas law firm, representing companies in commercial disputes. She then moved in-house at several companies, including one publicly traded, where she counseled on customer and supplier agreements, services agreements, software licenses, and NDAs. Having seen firsthand how contracts get challenged in court, she brings that same scrutiny to every agreement she negotiates — catching the ambiguity now instead of the litigator finding it later. Shelby joined GTX Legal in July 2023.

Shelby earned her J.D. from Texas University School of Law and her B.S. in Psychology from Texas University. She is licensed to practice law in Texas.
