Biography
Hello and thanks for visiting my AVVO page! I am attorney licensed to practice law in Texas. I graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) and began working for a large medical malpractice defense firm in Dallas, Texas.
Before obtaining my law degree, I earned my nursing degree and hold a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas. I have been an advocate for helping make individual lives whole for 25 years. My experience as a Registered Nurse has provided me with first-hand knowledge and insight into the daily operations of a hospital environment and the interactions of the healthcare team. My compassion for the well-being of people served me well in my career as a nurse and has followed me in my practice as an attorney.
Prior to starting my own law firm with my brother-in-law, I worked as Senior Staff Counsel representing nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations in Texas and throughout the United States in maintaining their statutory and regulatory compliance in order for them to focus on their organization's particular interests, which included assisting others.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, three children, and our two dogs!
