Highly recommended

Like this? If you are going through a complicated divorce and having the misfortune to have to appeal a judge’s decision, I highly recommend you to hire John Kappel (Fox Rothschild, LLP) as your appeal attorney. Through this unpleasant experience, I learned that “only between 5% to 15 % of the... thousands of appellate cases cited by the United States Courts, are successful, depending on the specific type of appeal.” Therefore, it is crucial that your attorney knows how to build a strong and comprehensive case to beat your opponent in an appeal. John possesses the expertise and the clear knowledge that are needed during this challenging time. I am writing this to extend my heartfelt thanks for the exceptional legal representation John has been provided me.

Excellent Consultation with John!

I wanted to hire Attorney John, but he was honest with me that he wouldn't be able to make the mediation dates that we wanted for our case work, with his current schedule. We then talked for a long while. When I looked down to hang up my phone at the end of the phone call, I realized he had spent 38 ...minutes with me! He was insanely knowledgeable, and very personable and warm. Outside of the fact that our dates didn't work together, I would hire him every day of the week and twice on Sunday, to handle all of my family law work. Thanks John!

Talented and Skilled Advocate

After a costly and brutal 6-year divorce with many hearings and two final trials my divorce was finalized with the judge being fair to both parties. However, the now ex-spouse did not agree and filed an appeal. I feared the settlement would be re-addressed and things could still be turned against m...e in the appeal. A friend suggested that I hire an appellate attorney because things are different at that level. It’s like a whole different ballgame he advised. I searched online in Avvo and found John Kappel. His profile said that the majority of his practice was at the appellate level. By this time I was no stranger to family law. I thought I was facing several more years of legal drama at the appellate level due to circumstances of my case. I am extremely glad that I hired John to handle my case. John stepped in and I quickly realized how talented and knowledgeable he is at his skills. He studied my divorce case and prepared an excellent response brief. When the oral arguments were held it was obvious he had prepared very well for that hearing in front of the Justice’s. His approach was always very calm but with precise intent to accomplish the advocacy goals for my case. Throughout the case period, he was very understanding and listened intently to me and my concerns regarding case strategy. He always responded promptly and kept me abreast of any developments. John was able to put finality to my divorce within a short appellate period and I was able to start putting my life back into a normal state. You will be in good hands with John as your advocate. I highly recommend him.

Custody Modification Case

John Kappel is an amazing lawyer! When you have to go to court for anything concerning your children and their well being it is imperative that you are in the hands of an attorney that is really compassionate, attentive, and truly cares about you and your family. John made me feel comfortable and c...onfident from day one. He takes the time to explain what everything means and the what the best process would be. He also is very quick to respond. I never had to wait more than a day to hear back from him. The payment arrangements are more than reasonable, and when I have been in a pinch they have been extremely understanding and willing to work with me. They truly care about your families well being! I can absolutely say I couldn't have been happier with John and the outcome of my case. I will definitely be keeping his number for the future.

Gifted Family Law Attorney

John Koppel is an outstanding attorney. He is extremely gifted in the art of law and he is equally as savvy in the art of building relationships with his clients. Since the moment I met John, I instantly felt that he would take excellent care of me throughout my divorce process. Considering the unbea...rable nature of divorce, John has a way of breaking down the legal jargon into clear concise and relatable language, thus dissolving the usual tension. If you are comparing family law attorneys in the DFW area, John is absolutely a top contender. I am eternally grateful to him for his expert care, expedience, and efficiency.

"i recently worked with John on a case where he was representing one parent and my client and I were on the other side. John is an excellent lawyer who did a great job for his client. He is very knowledgeable about family law. He also has a great style of communicating with his client and with the other side, which is straightforward without playing games or over-complicating the issues. He focused on finding a solution the issues instead of creating new problems. As an opposing lawyer I truly appreciate that."
