Charity went above and beyond when she represented me and my three children. From our very first meeting (on a Saturday only hours after my initial call) to the final hearing before the judge, Charity took care of us as if we were her family. She calmed my fears, walked by my side, and gave me stre...ngth when I did not have an ounce left. Charity truly cares for her clients and goes above and beyond in everything she does. I highly recommend her.

I have never felt less important to someone who was supposed to be fighting for me and my children. It got to the point where I dreaded receiving or needing to communicate with Charity or her office. She was completely unsupportive of the outcome that I was hoping for and handled the situation so poo...rly that it compromised the end goal. There were times where I absolutely felt like she was working against me. Thousands of dollars were spent, and wasted. I did not have her undivided time and attention during mediation, she was on her phone with me while she was at the courthouse in a hearing. She caused so much anxiety in an already stressful situation and wasted so much money and time.

I hired Charity after another lawyer I hired took a demolition ride on my case leaving us in shambles. She at first seemed to be working for us, representing us with CPS, but then she started dropping the ball. She let the other side suggest a Family psychologist that was hand picked by the opposing ...council without putting up any resistance. She almost seemed to be working with the opposing council, not in my favor. I really doubt she believed in my case, despite the fact she saw how much I cared for my son. She was my attorney for over a year and billed over $100k from me. At one point she restricted me from calling her and refused my calls and then told me that emailing her was the best way to contact her. Then she told me I was contacting her via email too much. During mediation her office demanded the day of I pay all her bills despite the fact I always paid on time every bill, and during the mediation she seemed more interested in her laptop and other cases than representing me. The deal she "negotiated" was totally for the mother and it was as though she had some back alley agreement with the other side. She really treated me like I was just a paycheck and she was doing me a favor. I actually told my wife we should fire her after she told me to stop contacting her via email so much, but we were desperate for help and afraid of hiring a new lawyer after the last one. She really was our second worst choice though. We were, at the end of her representation left with an order that was the mothers dream and our nightmare. If we had a better lawyer or even one that cared for our case, we would not be in the mess we have today. Don't hire this woman unless you want to pay for her lifestyle!
