David Bruce Koch

David was born and raised in Farmers Branch, Texas. After completing high school at Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas, he attended The University of Texas at Austin and The University of North Texas. He graduated from North Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a Major in Real Estate and a Minor in Finance. After college, David spent some time in the corporate world, working in commercial real estate financing in DFW. But, he knew law was where his passion was, and left the corporate world to attend Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia.
David and his wife, Carol, have three children and are active in their community. They are members of Saint Rita Church. David served as a City Councilman from 2007-2013 and has continued to serve on numerous Boards and Commissions for his hometown, including the Metrocrest Hospital Authority, Valwood Improvement Authority and Charter Review Committee.
David has been an active volunteer throughout his adult life, and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for financially disadvantaged high school students in the Greater Dallas area. He has also provided pro bono work through the Dallas Bar Association and in private practice. David has appeared on local and national television news shows discussing legal issues, including Fox & Friends, Fox Business and the McQuistion Hour. He has also shared his experiences and knowledge as an author and speaker for many professional associations and organizations.

David has practiced law in Texas and California. Throughout his career, David has represented clients in litigation, arbitration, mediation and appeals in a wide variety of cases including Personal Injury, Motor Vehicle Collisions, Wrongful Death, Products Liability, Insurance Bad Faith, and construction-related injuries.
David is a member of the American Bar Association, Texas Bar Association and Dallas Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all Texas courts, as well as U.S. Federal Courts in the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. David handles every case like he is helping a member of his own family, and has consistently received excellent results for his clients in over 28 years of practice. He has tried over 60 cases to verdict, and has obtained multiple million dollar + judgments for his clients.
