if i could give more than 5 stars i would!

this was my first time having any offenses against me and as I'm sure you can imagine it was very nerve racking not knowing what would happen to my future, I was referred to Scott Palmer Law through another attorney and Rebekah was with me every step of the way. Very professional, always setting cor...rect expectations and helping me to keep calm when I would freak out, very responsive whenever I had questions and explained the process very thoroughly. She always kept me in the loop as soon as any new information came out that I needed to be aware of and she ended up getting me into a program to expunge all of the charges against me which is a savior as my career depended on it. I definitely made a big mistake and it taught me a lesson but I couldn't have picked a better attorney to be by my side through this situation. VERY thankful to have found Rebekah in my time of need! 100% would recommend.

The best of the BEST

Two years ago I was charged with a class a misdemeanor for DWI, and accepted probation. Long story short, I violated my probation in numerous ways and after a long drawn out 6th months and multiple warrants for missed court dates etc, I finally buckled down and started to look for an attorney. After ...calling what seems like every attorney in Dallas, either they were too expensive or I couldn't get a answer back. Through a friend, Rebekah and Scott were recommended to me. I got online and sent in a request and INSTANTLY got a call back. Scott automatically eased my worries (as I had an active warrant) and Rebekah instantly pulled my case information and within the hour they let me know a action plan. They price and their willingness to work with me on the financial part was the kindest thing I was not expecting. Rebekah really oversaw my case and within ONE MONTH, had me at the court house and handled the courts motion to revoke my probation, got my warrant dismissed and got my NISI (for missing court) dismissed to just a small court fee. My probation was extended with no additional penalties. Hiring was Rebekah was the smartest thing I could have done (hopefully never have to again) and would recommend her to anyone with legal difficulties!! Seriously a life saver.

All Questions Answered

A couple of years ago I made a huge mistake and I was charged with abandon endanger child criminal negligence. I was very new to everything that was happening. I had never been arrested before, so I was very new to the entire process. The day of the incident I was arrested. That evening I was rele...ased on bond. Something I was told NEVER happens so quickly. Right away that told me I had great lawyers that were quick and got things done. I was so grateful that I didn’t have to spend the night in jail. The next day I got to meet my lawyers. They were able to answer all of my questions. My parents were with me and they also answered all of their questions (they had more than I did). I had many questions. I was told that the first thing that needed to be done was getting my grand jury packet together. I had no idea what that was. My lawyers gave me instructions on exactly what I needed to do. The most important thing was getting around 15-character witness letters. Rebekah instructed me exactly how the letters needed to be outlined. Once all the letters were turned in, the grand jury packet was made. The day of the grand jury I was devastated that I was indicted with a felony. Rebekah reassured me that it wasn’t the end. That they were still going to fight hard. Rebekah told me about a diversion program meant for first time offenders. She said she wasn’t sure if I could get it because they usually take cases involving drugs. My case was more unique to the program. She said she would try hard. In the meantime, I had to come to court once a month. That’s what I did. Every time I came Rebekah would be there. It was great to be able to meet with her once a month to find out how things were going. In between the meetings I was able to call or text her at any time I needed help understanding what was happening. Sometimes she even had to explain things more than once. Several months later I was finally accepted into the diversion program. Rebekah had me meet with her and explained what would be required from me while in the program. In another year I will be done with the program, and I know I can call on Rebekah to find out what the next process will be.

A Game Changer!

Everybody knows we all make mistakes sometimes. When I found myself in trouble with the law I was initially appointed an attorney by the court (bad idea). After nearly a year and a half of getting nowhere, I decided to reach out to Scott Palmer (good idea) who had been representing me, my family, a...nd friends for twenty years. That's how I met Rebekah Perlstein. Scott told me I could trust her to handle my case with the utmost scrutiny and vigor, and I am very happy I did. I spoke to Rebekah on a Thursday night and we were in court the very next morning. Immediately, Rebekah began to negotiate better terms for a plea bargain. The prosecutor was stuck on offering only state-jail time because of a prior offense, which would make it impossible for me to care for my sick mother. Sympathetic to my plight, Rebekah exceeded my expectations, and was able to get the state to offer 5 years probation (no jail time) thus allowing me to tend to my mother and continue with my life. As pleased as I was, she told me to wait one more week so she could work her magic some more. I came back to court the very next week and Rebekah had managed to get the offer down to only 3 years probation! It's not everyday that an attorney exceeds a client's expectations,TWICE! Rebekah Perlstein is a woman who gets results and obtains favorable outcomes for her clients...and she's cool, too! Because of her my mother isn't alone and has the care she needs. All I can say is that I should have hired her sooner. This team is strong.

DWI > .15%

I was arrested in September 2015 for DWI in Collin County. The county did not file my case until May 2017, and when they did Rebekah was immediately on it. My BAC was extremely high at a .21%, and i incriminated myself multiple times on the dash cam footage. This was not a very good case. However..., Rebekah did everything she could and was still able to get me down from a class A misdemeanor to a class B, with a very small fine and minimal community service. She was patient, responsive, hopeful, and supportive through the whole process. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of my case and the work Rebekah and Scott did. I would recommend Rebekah and Scott to anyone!
