Get legal help. You may or may not need the i601a waiver and you may or may not be eligible for it.
Is a resume required to file an h1b application? Do you submit a resume when filing an h1b? Worried my h1b will get rejected.

I always like to file resumes. I don't think you need to be concerned about unauthorized work in an H1b situation
