If you are a US citizen it does not matter if your B visa expires as long as oyu are marrying a US citizen

You do not need to amend the LCA if its in the same MSA but to make sure there are no questions raised by the Consulate it is always safe to do so.

He can continue in H1B status beyond 6 years if he has an approved I140 or his perm application has been pending for at least 1 year.

No you cannot. You need to apply for permanent residency through your spouse and when you get work authorization you can renew your license.

It is possibly that you can be placed in removal proceedings if USCIS discovers you are working in violation of the terms of your visa and work...
