Colton L. Richardson is a dedicated trial attorney and Associate at Richardson Richardson Boudreaux in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He focuses his practice on helping injured individuals and families recover after serious accidents and negligence. Colton handles a wide range of injury and death claims arising from car accidents, motorcycle crashes, trucking collisions, slip and falls, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, catastrophic injuries, and insurance bad faith cases.
With courtroom experience from both sides of the aisle, Colton brings a unique edge to every case. As a former Assistant District Attorney in the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office, he successfully tried both misdemeanor and felony jury trials. This prosecutorial background sharpened his litigation skills, evidence presentation, and ability to take cases all the way to verdict when insurance companies refuse to offer fair compensation. He is passionate about fighting aggressively against insurers and at-fault parties so his clients can focus on healing and rebuilding their lives.
Colton is committed to obtaining maximum compensation for his clients—whether through strategic settlements or verdicts when necessary. He is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma state courts, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma.
A lifelong Oklahoman, Colton knew he wanted to be a lawyer from a young age. He graduated with Highest Honors and Distinction from the University of Tulsa College of Law (earning CALI awards for the highest grade in Evidence, Professional Responsibility, and Advanced Torts) and holds a BBA with Distinction from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining the family firm, he gained valuable experience clerking for the Honorable John Dowdell in the U.S. Northern District of Oklahoma, as well as working with Life Church legal counsel, the Tulsa County Public Defenders’ Office, Check-6, Inc., Fry & Elder, and others.
Colton is an active member of the Oklahoma Association for Justice, Tulsa County Bar Association (past Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division), Oklahoma Bar Association, Hudson-Hall-Wheaton American Inns of Court, and serves on the Board of Directors for Operation Aware. He is proud to continue the Richardson family tradition of aggressive advocacy and compassionate client service in Tulsa and across Oklahoma.
