Aaron Bundy

I advise and represent individuals in high-stakes matters involving financial disputes, including asset valuation, property division, monetary support claims, and white-collar investigations. I am a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an organization that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law. I am also a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.

My job is to give the best advice that I can to each client during the most stressful time of their life. I work hard to continue my education and training so I can provide superior guidance and information and help my clients make important decisions about their legal and financial situations. After law school, I completed SMU's year-long certified financial planner program to enhance my knowledge of investments, retirement, insurance, taxation, and estate planning and better serve my clients.

The statistics say that most cases settle by agreement. Most criminal cases end with a plea deal, and most lawsuits and divorces are resolved by agreement. But not all cases settle. I go to court and try the cases that don't settle. People seek me out when they have been falsely accused or when they are being bullied or pressured to take a bad settlement. Many times I am hired just weeks or even days before trial. My background is in trial work, and I am board-certified as a family law trial lawyer by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

I spend a lot of time in seminars and other programs with plaintiff's attorneys and criminal defense lawyers. I have worked with psychologists and coaches across the United States to improve my advocacy skills. Following my training and my experience in family law, civil, and criminal cases, I have developed a process for handling cases that incorporates best practices from those fields. My process is designed to optimize the client's opportunities for favorable settlement while simultaneously preparing for trial. The process works. I have obtained favorable outcomes for my clients in negotiation, at trial, and on appeal.
