This was a trust dispute between the deceased man's new wife (formerly his caregiver) and his niece. Niece had always been the man's beneficiary under his trust, but when he died all documents had bee ... n changed so that his former caregiver, and new wife, received all his assets. I represented the niece in arguing that the new wife pressured him into making these changes or tricked him into doing so. A jury heard the case and found in favor of my client. This was a million dollar estate. So far, my client recovered approximately $250,000 including the man's two houses.
