Avery Barrett Haines

Attorney Avery Haines grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and graduated from Stillwater High School while also attending Oklahoma State University. Earning an appointment to the United States Naval Academy, Avery completed four years of naval officer training, graduated with a Bachelor of Science, and received a commission as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy.

Avery served his commission as a Surface Warfare Officer, deploying three times aboard USS VANDEGRIFT (FFG 48), homeported in San Diego, California and USS THE SULLIVANS (DDG 68), homeported in Mayport, Florida. LT Haines concluded his naval career assigned to the staff of JOINT REGION MARIANAS, located on Guam.

Avery attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, worked in the O.U. Legal Clinic, and interned at the Law Offices of Wright & Dale during the summers.

After graduation, Avery moved to Hooker, Oklahoma, and began his practice at Wright & Dale, working closely with experienced attorneys Bryan Wright and Douglas Dale. In 2023, Avery became the owner of the practice, now known as Haines Law Office PLLC.
